Mobilize resources to help develop cooperative organizations desired by vulnerable populations, especially poor, people of color, and sexually marginalized people. We are developing an Education and Outreach initiative to inform folks about worker/owner cooperatives, and to see what other types of co-ops are desired by our target populations, in an effort to remedy the high rate of unemployment, and general precarious experiences of queer people of color in the South.
Phone line for 6 months so that we will help support transgender people and undocumented Latinx people who lack access to traditional institutional resources and increase guidance and navigation to these under served and marginalized communities. We are dedicated to justice with regards to economic, racial and gender and in doing so we empower each other to be leaders. Lastly we are just a group of marginalized people trying to survive and help a few folks along the way by working projects that respond to immediate and urgent community needs while working toward empowering and producing a better world for everyone all the way around.
Donation to MotherLove Program which provides direct service and one-on-one support to 30 pregnant and parenting teens, including academic goal setting, access to prenatal care and community services, financial management and parenting skills.
With this funding we will be able to keep our website and other operating costs paid, we will be able to
continue to have events and grow our base, and we would be able to get our non profit status solidified.
Funding will go to supporting operation of LGBTQ affirming shelter for LGBTQ youth in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas.
Funds will go towards a Trans housing program in partnership with the Atlanta Trans Housing Program through the FTM foundation.
Funds will go toward supplies, venue rental and interpretation for trans and GNC centered ‘know your rights workshops’.
Funding will be used to fund UBER gift cards for transportation, shelving for trans closet for clothing for searching for employment and to pay for hotels for Black trans women in Charlotte.
